So far I'm on track for all 12 days! I don't expect that to keep up, but so far so good :) Today I made two tags inspired by Tim Holtz's
second day of holiday tags. Here are his tags...

tim holtz tags day 2 |
I made one for the tree and one for the reindeer. Remember what I said
yesterday with tag 1... this is so not my style and I only own one distress ink (but a lot of stickles!) so I make do with what I've got.

my tag day 2 |
My Christmas tree tag! I found some really old (
I mean I bought them in high school old) decoupage tissue papers, so I used those over the tag to get a somewhat translucent look like Tim did. I 'painted' the entire tag with white ink, then I rubbed green chalk ink over the corners. I stamped 'Christmas' in brown on the side, a Hero Arts stamp. I added the thing on the bottom, some brads (they don't match like they were suppose to!) and splattered the whole thing with white specks.
For the pine tree, I found a free download through Make the Cut software and cut it with my Silhouette SD. I tied brown twine around the trunk, and I dipped the whole tree in wet green ink to get a cool watercolor look. Added red and gold stickles, doooone!

my second tag day 2 |
I definitely like this one more! For the main tag piece I followed all the same steps as above, but with purples and gold inks instead of greens. I also cut the reindeer with a free Make the Cut download (it's actually the John Deer logo, can you tell? It was all I could find). I wrapped a little twine wreath around him and gave him a red stickle nose. There are two glittered chipboard circles added to the top corner, they are DCWV chipboard pieces.
Thanks for checking in! I hope you all have a lovely weekend... it's finally getting cold here, but at least the sun will be out tomorrow!

I can't believe you made multiple tags again!! You are so inspired! I love them and how you did the backgrounds. I really like the reindeer one and how you distressed the reindeer and added the glittery red nose. So cute!! I started mine before work today (instead of going to the gym) and just finished it.
