How is it November?! The autumn months are flying by and I'm excited to welcome November with a very very festive My Monthly Hero kit called Jolly Holiday.
I fell in love with a new color combo, so you'll see a lot of pinks, corals, and minty blues in the post today. My first set of cards actually features the scripty Merry and Bright die that's in the My Monthly Super Hero kit.
Each of these cards was first stenciled with one layer of the Snow Day Layering Stencil with some Glitter Paste. One stencil was just enough to add a bit of sparkle on the black cardstock.
The stamped images on each card are from Let's be Jolly set in the Super Hero kit.
All of the cardstock is from the beautiful ColorWheel collection. I added some silver glitter paper from the silver collection as well. The more shimmer the better!
My next card features the dies from the Let's be Jolly stamp and cut set in the Super Hero kit. I loved all the pointed oval shapes, intended to be stamped as holly leaves. I skipped the stamping and just die cut a variety of the shapes in corals, pinks, and minty blue cardstocks.
The "Eat, Drink, and be jolly" sentiment was stamped on the base cardstock, but die cut on the white panel to show through. I had fun with this one and using the dies in a way other than intended!
My next two cards are a different color combo! Just adding the bright green cardstock to the mix changes the look. I love the "Ho Ho Ho Cover Plate" that's in the Super Hero kit. I also added in some holiday lights throughout the card, included in the main kit.
With all the extra h's and o's I created the card below. First I used White Hero Paste with one layer of that snow stencil. Then I die cut just the belt from the big Santa die included in the main kit.
Thanks for stopping by! This is a great kit to jump start your holiday card making season!
