Unity Stamps Thursday!

Another Thursday already?! This summer has just started but its already flying by way too quickly! But Thursdays are good because (as always!) it means brand new stamps and a brand new sale from Unity Stamp Company!

Unity is welcoming a NEW ARTISTA today; Graciellie Designs! There are a lot of new stamps that are just beautiful... you'll definitely want to get your hands on these.

She has also created some gorgeous botanical stamps (big ones!) that the rest of the team has made some wonderful samples with. Personally... I fell in love with the tandem bike :) They always remind me of when my hubs and I rented a tandem bike and rode it all over Catalina Island! That was the best workout I've ever gotten lol! Those things aren't easy uphill!

I made the bike a little summery by pairing it with the fun watermelon paper from DCWV "Melon Twist" and using a lot of yellow, pink, and sky blue.

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS SALE! A BOGO for the first time EVER at Unity! I'll be shopping!

We have TWO amazing Unity filled prize packages to giveaway. Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity blog) for your chance to win. The winners will be announced Monday night on the Unity blog.

Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop

It has been so so long since I last participated in a Papertrey Ink blog hop! The photo inspiration for this month MADE me play along, and I'm so glad I did. If navy stripes are involved, I think nautical. And if nautical is involved, I think I NEED THAT.

Can somebody make these in adult size 7 1/2 please?

I started with the bold navy and cream stripe pattern paper from DCWV "Seaworthy" stack. I stamped a lot of flowers and leaves from PTI - Ruby Rose on some woodgrain pattern paper that came in the same stack. They were all fussy cut and set aside for an hour while I decided what to do next.

Then I remembered the Make in Monday Challenge was "bring the inside out" so I used that as even more inspiration. I die cut an off-set circle from the front of the card only. I also created a mask to lay over the inside of the card while I stamped the checkerboard pattern (from PTI "On the Farm").

The Thanks sentiment from PTI - Wet Paint Cuts was die cut 4 four times from navy cardstock. I stacked them all together for more dimension and adhered it to the checkerboard circle. I found the "so much" stamp hidden in my PTI - Mini Blooms set and stamped it below. I really love the end result, even if it took 3 attempts to get here!

Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by today! Enjoy the rest of the blog hop!

12 Tags - June

Last weekend I was able to catch up with my #artsyfartsygirls and we actually completed the Tim Holtz June 2015 tag on time! We were super impressed with ourselves, to say the least.

We followed the tag instructions pretty closely, so be sure to check out Tim's post for all the details on how to create it!

This was a fun one and came together pretty quickly. I loved stamping our homemade ombre ink pad onto a stencil for the great background. I'll definitely be using that technique later!

I chose the sentiments 'play' and 'bestoftimes' because I was doing just that... playing with my girlies and having a blast!

And that coffee cup just turned out so stinkin cute!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to hang out with my artsy fartsy girls (Lynn Kopas and Jenn Shurkus) again before I move further away :( So I brought them mini champagnes to celebrate all the fun we've been having.
