Holiday Gift Tags

Hello again! I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday filled with family and happy memories. Today I'm sharing some sweet gift tags. The tags feature stamps from Jane's Doodles and inks from Prism Ink.

I started by stamping these sweet images from Merry Mice by Jane's Doodles. I colored all images with Copic markers and cut using my Brother Scan n Cut.

I shaded this tag with Prism Ink in Arctic Mist. I then assembled the little mice and stamped the sentiment on a banner. I also bordered this tag with holiday paper from Polkadoodles.

The next tag is shaded with Rainforest Green Prism Ink and the mice assembled on top.

For the last tag, I used a foiled piece of cardstock from my stash. The little die cut circle was shaded with Prism Ink in Red Brick.

Bob the Cat was Stirring...

Hello and welcome back! I've been working on a lot of holiday cards to try to get ahead of the rush after Thanksgiving. Today I'm on the Topflight Stamps blog sharing this fun Bob the Cat card :)

First I stamped Bob the Cat with Versafine Ink on watercolor paper (I prefer Strathmore). I colored the image with Distress Watercolor Pencils and then fussy cut. When I'm in a hurry to color an image I like to use my water brushes for convenience.

I've been practicing using my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil system. I'm getting the technique down and even embracing slight imperfections, like this one. I still love the added shine! I used Spellbinders hot foil Duo Essentials Rectangle plate and gold foil.

I then die cut with my Sizzix Big Shot and Waffle Flowers A2 Lacy Layers die.

Next I heat embossed the fun sentiment with a stamp from Lawn Fawn 'A Creature was Stirring' and Hero Arts gold embossing powder. I used the smallest die in the Lawn Fawn Mini Slimline Stackables to die cut the sentiment... it ended up being the perfect length!

Now it's all ready to be put together! I tied a small bow with green twine and glued the panel to the card base.

Thanks for stopping by!

Snow Buddies Christmas Card

The days are shorter and colder, so it's a good time to hunker down in the craft room. Today I'm sharing a snowman themed holiday card using Studio Light stamps from the Topflight Stamps store.

I started by stamping Studio Lights 'Snow Buddies' stamp on watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink. This stamp only took one press and it stamped beautifully!

I was really excited to use my Distress Watercolor Pencils for the first time. They are so easy to use and blend. I am looking forward to using them more and more!

I then started to color the image. I tried to add some highlights coming off from the moon and the lantern. Finally, I fussy cut the image with my Cutterbees and started to put the card together.

I die cut the panel using this beautiful paper pad from Paper Favourites called 'Gold Drops'. I picked the darker paper pattern to add to the night time feel of the image.

For the sentiment, I die cut beautiful glitter paper from Studio Light called 'Vintage Christmas Glitter'. I popped up the sentiment die with foam tape.

I will definitely be creating more cards with this stamp. It's so large and makes cardmaking easy. Thanks for stopping by!
