Be Merry!!!

Popping in late tonight to share this out-of-the-ordinary Christmas card. And it's perfect for my older brother :)

I ordered a ton of stamps from My Cute Stamps and I couldn't wait to play with this little monster from "Eek! Monsters!" set. He was colored with Prismacolor Pencils blended with mineral oil. I made the little speech bubble and used sentiment stamps from Lawn Fawn "Cozy Christmas"

Make sure even your stupid annoying brothers get holiday cards, too!!! ;)

Play Date Cafe #161

I am so very excited for this color story at the Play Date Cafe! I think you all will love the colors: Evergreen, Gum Drop, Candy Cane Red

Here is my simple one layer card (well, except for the lil pearls)

I used stamps from My Mind's Eye (sent from Julie.. thank you!) and masked the little birdie so he's sitting over the wreath. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches "christmas sampler" set. The little dots hanging the wreath are from Craft's Meow. Inks are Memento (red and green) and Distress Ink (hot pink). Red and pink Stickles were added to the berries on the wreath.

Remember... you can make ANYTHING YOU WANT using the colors in the story. I can't wait to see your projects :)

12 Days of Holiday Projects #11

Pinterest-Inspired Card!!!!

Welcome back to day 11 of our 12 Days of Holiday Projects! Several bloggers and I (with the amazing Donna Bowman!) decided to post one holiday project a day for 12 days - just for fun. Be sure to check out the other crafty ladies and leave comments when something inspires you!

Today I created a card that I totally scraplifted (inspired) from this one...

This guh-oorr-jusss card is by Shari Carroll over with Hero Arts.

Here is my first attempt knock off...

I was also inspired by the newest Paper Smooches Sparks challenge to use this sketch:

I used paper from My Mind's Eye "merry" collection, washi tape by k & co, embossing plate from Sizzix, bazzil basics cardstock in brown, and Paper Smooches sentiment from "Christmas Sampler".

12 Days of Holiday Projects #10

Neon Tag!!!

Welcome back to day 10 of our 12 Days of Holiday Projects! Several bloggers and I (with the amazing Donna Bowman!) decided to post one holiday project a day for 12 days - just for fun. Be sure to check out the other crafty ladies and leave comments when something inspires you!

Today I had fun making a tag that was inspired by Kelly Alvarez's entry to the "12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist" over at the Ellen Hutson CLASSroom. I used Kelly's technique tip to emboss with white on watercolor papers, then paint the image with distress inks.

Kelly's tag - so fun and inspiring :)
I also wanted to play along with the Keen on Neon challenge over at the Moxie Fab World. So I painted my little gingerbread house with neon pinks, blues, and oranges...

Pretty messy outcome, can't say I'm thrilled with it! But I definitely had fun playing with this cute stamp set (Lawn Fawn 'sweet christmas') and all of my distress inks.

And be sure to check out all the other amazing projects for day 10!

12 Days of Holiday Projects #8

Gift wrap!!!!

Welcome back to day 8 of our 12 Days of Holiday Projects! Several bloggers and I (with the amazing Donna Bowman!) decided to post one holiday project a day for 12 days - just for fun. Be sure to check out the other crafty ladies and leave comments when something inspires you!

I'm sharing a stamped kraft gift wrap...

I used the long brown pieces of packaging paper that is thrown in with boxes I get from the mail.
I used The Craft's Meow snowflake stamped in brown. Once the box was wrapped I stamped the sentiment (also from Craft's Meow).

I punched the scallop with a snowflake stamp, added a brad, and the back is stamped with "to:" and "from:" Then it was just tucked under the ribbon.

And be sure to check out all the other amazing projects for day 8!
