HeroWeen Days 5 and 6

 Welcome back to more HeroWeen! I have two cards to share today, with the first one featuring dies from Day 5.

Day 5 features these very spooky (but cute) kitties and the tree. I paired them with the classic pumpkins from the Beep Beep Leaf Peeper die set.

To create a simple night scene, I used Cosmic Sky cardstock, cut with Arches Infinity Dies, and blended some yellow ink around the moon. The black background was also stamped with the spiderweb stamp from September MMH kit in Lisa Horton Metallic Silver Ink.

My second card today features the dies from the Day 6 set of HeroWeen. I paired this with the sentiments from Day 2, the tree form Day 5, and the ghosts from Day 4.

Cozy Season Collection

 The cutest, kitty-filled, autumn collection just dropped at Hero Arts! The Cozy Season set is a fantastic addition to your autumn stamp and die collection 🍂

My first card features that adorable Kitty Squeezer die set. This cat die fills an entire card base, or could be used as its own shape card. I have my black kitty holding a candy corn, but this is also a great option to add in a gift card or some cash!

The background was heat embossed and stamped with the new Cozy Vibes Cling Stamp.

My second card is a fun interactive card featuring a cute cat from the Hide and Peek Stamp and Cut set. The large pumpkin that he's hiding behind is from the Kitty Squeezer Die Set, and I sprinkled some stamped leaves around it. The background is again stamped with the Cozy Vibes cling stamp using Lisa Horton Metallic Ink.

I created a very simple mechanism to slide the cat up and down, so it looks like he's peeking behind the pumpkin then popping up. I just cut a slit of paper behind the pumpkin and used cardstock and a foam dot to hold the cat in place, but still able to pull him up and down.

I was still in the mood to create with the Hide and Peek set for my last card today! I colored all of the images with my Polychromos Pencils and created this little autumn scene. The background is embossed with the Falling Leaves embossing folder.

No Tricks, Just Treats

 I have another Halloween card to share! This time featuring the September My Monthly Hero Kits (sold out - but save your place in line!).

All elements of this card use the MMH kits, plus the beautiful ColorWheel cardstock collection. What you'll see in the video is that I added a Snap and Slide element to the witch arm so the arm moves closer to the candy bucket!

This was such an easy, but big impact, interactive element to add. And I even used dies available in the kit to give room for the motion. Be sure to check out my reel!

Happy HeroWeen - Day 2!

 I'm sure you saw a huge variety of adorable Halloween cards yesterday with the HeroWeen reveal! Instagram was filled with inspiration for Day 1's die set. Today, I'm happy to share my Day 2 card...

The Day 2 surprise was a mini stamp set filled with fun Halloween phrases. I paired my Day 1 bat, cat, and pumpkin with the "You're Spooktacular" sentiment from Day 2.

I turned the bat into a silly stumpy cat by not including the bat ears and I added the cat tail. I think he looks very cute and silly inside the pumpkin bucket!

The oldies that I used on this card include the incredible Halloween Words Stencil, brushed with Taffy Ink, the spider webs from the Haunted Romance Dies (a Halloween must have), and my go-to Postage Infinity Dies. I also added some black star sequins (included in HeroWeen box) with some Black Splatter.

Happy HeroWeen! Day 1 Reveal

 The day has finally arrived!! It's time to open up your first envelope for HeroWeen Day 1!!

I have a cute card to share that uses items from Day 1 and the provided stamp set (plus an oldie but goodie)...

How cute is this ghost?! How cute is that cat labooboo looking thing?!How cute is that fat bat?! I love it all!

I paired these adorable die cuts from Heroween Day 1 with the always classic Arches Infinity Dies and the beautiful In the Valley cling stamp. I inked the cling stamp in beautiful Bronze Cloud 9 metallic ink.

Woodblock Inspired Spookiness

 Some of the stamps in the September 2026 My Monthly Hero kits immediately reminded me of classic woodblock prints. My parents have a couple woodblocks prints hanging in my childhood home, so they hold a special place in my arty heart! 

I created this spooky card with those classic black and white wood prints in mind...

I used the solid stamps the most, then cut a couple of the pumpkins that I left white. I cut one of my essential dies, the Woodblock Frames, and then did very light splatters of Black Acrylic paint.

Harvest Scarecrow

 I am just so happy that autumn crafting is here! Both spooky season and general autumnal cards are always a fun switch from the summer.

Today I'm sharing a card using the September Stitching Die of the Month called Scarecrow Harvest.

I love adding little touches of teal or light blue in my autumn color schemes. All of the cardstock used here is from the ColorWheel collection.

For the background, I used the lovely embossing folder called Falling Leaves on white cardstock. The sentiment comes from the new Autumn Greetings stamp set.

I have two cards to share using the absolutely beautiful stamp set called Harvest Blessings. 

I paired this card with the lovely Infinity Arches die set, some Carrot cardstock, and beautiful Concord and 9th ink pads.

My second card using Harvest Blessings has a more traditional color scheme to it, and I used a lot more of the sweet little leaf stamps. This is such a beautiful stamp set and definitely a good addition to your autumn stash!

My Monthly Hero - Wicked Good!

 It's the best day of the month but somehow even BETTER! Because this month's My Monthly Hero kit is Halloween themed!!!! Spooky season has arrived! 

I will say, the My Monthly Super Hero kits are really blowing me away. You get so many extra goodies that all work so well together... definitely a great bang for your buck!

My first card uses a combination of a few different items in the kit. The super cute cauldron shaker die set is clearly the focal point of the card. The sweet little crow and frog are from the Miss Witch die set.

The witches broom is from the If the Broom Fits die set, and lastly, the "eek" sentiment is from the Tis Near Halloween stamp set. Mixing and matching is so fun with these kits... this is why getting the Super Hero kit is so great! All cardstock used is from the ColorWheel collection. 

For my second card, I really wanted to highlight the cute stamp set called Spooky Brew. I love die cutting, but I love coloring even more! I was excited to have a stamp set that gave me the excuse to pull out my Copic markers.

A bunch of Hocus Pocus

 It's officially spooky season! Once Disneyland decorates the parks for Halloween... everyone else can decorate for the best season of the year 🎃

I can't wait to decorate my house for Halloween - but first, I needed to get some spooky cards created. This card features the August Small Die of the Month. This is such a fun subscription to get in my mail each month... I highly highly recommend it!

I always use my Spellbinders Colorwheel cardstock with these fun dies. I also used a sentiment from last year's Hero Arts Seasons Creepings stamp set and of course, all dies are cute using my trusty Platinum 8 machine.

My Monthly Hero Kit - Little Library

 Happy August and happy My Monthly Hero release day! Lately, these kits have been selling out QUICK so if you have your eye on it, please subscribe before you lose out on these cute stamps and dies!

I have several cards to share today using both the Monthly Hero kit and the Monthly Super Hero Kit. 

The theme this month is based around the darling free little libraries. We have them all over the neighborhood where I am, so this kit was so fun to play with!

The main August MMH kit includes all the dies you see in this first card to create your very own little library. The little doors even open so you can add your own books (or worms)! I paired this card with an older cling stamp, Burlap.

I quickly fell in love with this little worm friend, and my worm friend needed more friends... so how about a rainbow of friends? I used cardstock all from the ColorWheel collection. Again, this wormy comes as one of the dies in the My Monthly Hero set!

This library check out card is one of my favorites of the month. I am happy to have grown up with this style of library check out system. These stamps and dies are again part of the MMH kit. It is so easy to tuck whatever you'd like into the little pocket. For this card, I tucked a candle and a flower to make it a fun birthday card.

To add just a bit of detail, I decorated the frosting on the birthday cake and the pink portion of the candle with glitter. The background is created with one of my favorites - the woodgrain press plate.

Now I have some cards showcasing the August My Monthly Super Hero kit. With this kit, you get everything from the MMH set PLUS a lovely layering stencil, a fun book die set, and the beautiful sentiment stamps and matching dies.

This card showcases the layering stencil set as the cover of this beautiful book die. I also added some fancy gold glasses to the set. The background is embossed with the Dina Wakley Scribbled Letter embossing folder.

And because I couldn't resist, the final layer of the stencil was coated with Glitter Paste!

I kept this card very simple in order to show off the lovely book die and those gorgeous scripty sentiments. A little gold tasseled bookmark is tucked into the middle of the pages.

I couldn't stop creating with this one little worm die! I paired this pink worm with a couple of teal books and a lovely scripted sentiment. I also inked the layering stencil all in the same color of Charcoal (but again, with the last layer being Glitter Paste).

Let it Snow!

 A bit late here, but I wanted to share my Christmas in July card. This sweet snowy card features the adorable penguins from the July Small Die of the Month.

I paired the penguin with the slider die from the Wild Ride set. I then used a snap and slide piece to let the penguin slide up and down. You can watch it in action on my instagram post!
