Fall is My Favorite Color

If you haven't grabbed anything from the Cozy Season collection, now is the time to get to it! The collection is so great for autumn, and thankfully we still have a couple more months of fall crafting to go.

The beautiful autumn leaves from the Lovely Little Leaves die set is a must-have addition to you craft stash! Everyone needs a great autumn leaves die set and this one is a very affordable add!

To create this card, first die cut a variety of leaves from watercolor paper. Die cut the leaf veins from rose gold glitter cardstock.

To watercolor them, ink a variety of Reactive Inks directly onto a glass mat or slick craft mat. I used Reactive Inks in Key Lime Fizz, Lemon Drop, Fruit Punch, and Creamsicle. Spray the ink with water and loosely watercolor each of the leaves.

Once the watercolor is dry, glue the veins onto each leaf. For the backgrounds of each card, stamp the Cozy Vibes Cling Stamp. The black background was stamped in Lisa Horton Metallic Ink Bronze and the pink background was stamped in Peony Ink.

Arrange the leaves in an L-shape down the card and glue! The sentiments added to each card are from the Hide and Peek Stamp and Cut set.

Each card was finished off with a splattering of Brown Acrylic Speckle paint. Add in a few acorns and it's all finished!

This Instagram Reel shows how it all comes together!

Parade Day Collection - 4 Cards

There is a very fun release dropping over at Hero Arts today call Parade Day! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays of the year and, embarrassing or not, the parade (and dog show) are a huge part of why I love this day so much. When I saw this collection it was an INSTANT love for me. You will absolutely want the I Want it ALL Bundle!

I'm excited to share 4 cards today using allll of the stamps and dies available in the Parade Day collection.

I'm starting with a simple card to celebrate Thanksgiving day. It was very easy to fall in love with this darling turkey die from the Big Fun Add On die set, so I made three of them, and one very special turkey is featured on this card.

All cardstock used for each of these cards comes from the beautiful ColorWheel collection.

There is also a full sheet of fun Thanksgiving, Christmas, Winter, and parade day sentiments with matching dies called The Holiday Season. It's the baste time of the year.... it doesn't get better than that ☺ I paired the Arches Die with the perfect-for-fall Sweater Weather Embossing Folder.

My second card today is my attempt at a nighttime city scene. We can pretend that the Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place at night! This card features the In the City Stamp and Cut set. There are a variety of options to layer-stamp buildings, taxi cabs, and a lot of fun parade balloons, which are from the On Parade Stamp and Cut set.

I ink blended the background to have a yellow glow of the city lights and then fade into the dark blues and grey of a nighty sky. The Santa and elf balloons from the On Parade Stamp and Die set float over the city as taxi cabs honk below.

I had a lot of fun with the third card! I wanted the Chrysler Building from the Big Fun Die Set to be floating in low-laying clouds with the holiday balloons floating nearby. The background was blended with stencils that I created using the Cloud Die set and blended very lightly with Soft Pool Ink. The two festive parade balloons are created using dies from the Big Fun Add On set.

The outer layer of the building was die cut with Brushed Silver Cardstock, which I feel is the best match for this elegant art deco building! Two Cloud Die layers were cut to sandwich the building into the sky. The beautiful sentiment finished off this card - it's the most wonderful time of the year!

The final card today showcases the fun interactive Wiper element! It features the City Skyline die set, the Big Fun die set, AND the Big Fun Add On die set. At first glance, this card is a city scene of skyscraper buildings and a darling turkey parade float....

As you "unfold" the card, a fun Santa swings his way up above the buildings! The die set includes pieces to create the interactive mechanism.

This card was inspired by the parade itself, which usually begins as a Thanksgiving celebration with the turkey float, and then ends with a Christmas celebration with the Santa float as the grand finale.

Just floating by with a Holiday Hi!

I hope you've enjoyed all my cards showing off the new Parade Day collection! Thanks for stopping by and reading this far!

A Little Merri-Mint

There's a very fun an unexpected Stitching Die of the Month over at Spellbinders! All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth...

The actual stitching portion of this die turns your card front into an "ugly sweater" with the cute teeth as the sweater image. I love the winter teeth so much I wanted them to be the star of the card!

The background is embossed on Poppy cardstock using the Plaid Company embossing folder. I blended the edge with Raspberry Jam ink to make the card have a vignette vibe.

I just so happened to have this Merri-Mint stamp set out from creating my Mean Girls cards... and the "a little merri-mint never hurt nobody" was the perfect match to the minty toothpaste!

Happy Mean Girls Day AND WCMD!

Happy Mean Girls Day! Why is today Mean Girls Day?...

It also happens to be World Card Making Day 2026! So I created two Mean Girls themed cards just for this fabulous occasion.

This showgirl stamp from Sparkling Holiday Stage works perfectly for what I imagined in my mind. I added the leather gloves and boots to match what the girls are wearing when they sing "Jingle Bell Rock" at the talent show in Mean Girls. The Stage Curtain die was the perfect touch for the talent show look in the school auditorium.

Of course they are looking "so fetch", which I cut from Pomegranate Cardstock using Quinn's ABCs Lowercase dies.

You go, Glen Coco!!

My second Mean Girls inspired card features one of the quotable scenes in the movie (who am I kidding, they're all quotable). This card uses the candy cane layering stencil paired with the die cut candy canes that I embossed from the "Merri-Mint" stamp and die set.

The quote was cut from Henry's ABCs dies.... "And none for Gretchen Wieners, bye!"

Tell Wicket he looks sexy with his hair pushed back 😁 We're in pink ready to watch our favorite movie!

Happy World Card Making Day and Mean Girls Day 2026!!

October My Monthly Hero - Autumn Harvest

Happy October 1st! A new My Monthly Hero has arrived and this one celebrates all things autumn! I have six cards to share here on my blog today, so let's dive right in...

My first two cards feature the October My Monthly Hero Kit. One of the dies in that kit is this beautiful sunflower set used above.

Everything you see below is what you receive in this month's My Monthly Hero...

I paired my sunflowers with the lovely Bee-Cause embossing folder and the always classic Arches Infinity Dies.

My next card using the My Monthly Hero base kit showcases the seed packet dies...

The stamp set included works well with the seed packet dies included. I also tucked in some of my extra sunflowers. The background uses the Plaid Company embossing folder (I'm clearly in my embossing folder era!).

My third and fourth cards feature the corn layering stencil and dies. While the corn dies are included in the base kit, the beautiful layering stencils are a great addition to the My Monthly Super Hero Kit!

I have two similar cards because, unfortunately, the woven embossing folder (below) isn't available anymore (but I think this one would be a great substitute!) so I created a second similar one with a background that is available!

So my second card uses the Sweater Weather embossing folder! When inking up the layers of the stencil, I masked off the husk leaves with each layer. Once the corn kernels were all inked, I lined up the stencil again to ink up the husk in yellows and greens.

My hope was to make my corn look like the maize with various colors, included a deep purplish tone.

How darling is this wooden wheelbarrow?! The die set also includes all the lovely pumpkin and leaf dies. It was really fun to put together, and I think adding some sunflowers would be a nice touch!

I wanted it to be nestled in a wheat field or something similar, so this grass die (layered twice) from Butterfly Foliage Fancy Dies was a perfect fit.

You made it to the last card! I had die cut so many pumpkins and leaves for my wheelbarrow card that I had several leftover. This card came about with whatever was left sitting on my desk... and I think it may just be my favorite one!?

Be sure to subscribe to the My Monthly Super Hero Kit so you are guaranteed to get it before it sells out!
