There's a beautiful new collection out from Spellbinders called Summertime by Lisa Horton and it is filled with beautiful floral dies. I have two cards to share that use the Garden Planter Die and the Decorative Lattice Die.
So many possibilities with a floral die set like this. I followed the color inspiration from my ColorCube card pretty closely and used Spellbinders ColorWheel cardstocks. I cut enough flowers to make two cards.
The Decorative Lattice die worked really well for a corner accent on this card. I also embossed the white panel with the Crackle Paint folder, which adds a great texture.
I had some flowers left over my die cutting so here is card #2! This time I used the Decorative Lattice die straight across the bottom. I cut away the thin border that the die leaves behind so the lattice stays open.
I used my old school Spellbinders circle dies to get this card started. The flowers lay really nicely around the circle die to give a half-frame. Finished with a sentiment and the card is complete!
