Long Line Leaves - Two Ways

Today I'm sharing a set of cards that share a lot of similarities but also big differences. I used the beautiful Long Line Leaves set from Kristina Werner. There are stamps, stencils, and dies to make this a complete set to create some elegant cards.

Both cards start with inking up the Long Line Leaves Background Stamp and embossing it with Brass Powder. I did this for both a white card panel and a black card panel.

For the black panel, I pulled out my trusty Arteza Acrylic Paints. I lightly painted the petals with Pearl Turquoise and Pearl Rose Quartz.

For the white panel, I used the coordinating Long Line Leaves Stencil Pack. Half of the leaves are ink blended with Lilac and the other half are blended with Lakefront ink.

Both cards have the sentiment anchored by some large stamped leaves. These leaves are from the Long Line Leaves Stamp Set. I stamped the solid leaves with Fig, Lilac, and Peacock. There is a coordinating die set that I used to cut out the leaves.

The sentiment on the black panel (from the Long Line Leaves Dies set) says "just wanted to say hello and that I'm thinking of you". This was the perfect sentiment as I created this card to send to a family friend whos beloved cat recently passed away. The sentiment was cut from Pitch Black cardstock and matted with Champagne Foil Cardstock.

The sentiment for the white card says 'thanks so much' and is from the More to Say Die set. I cut this one from Lilac cardstock and also backed it on Champagne foil. Both card have some clear dew drop accents and they are complete!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Some links are affiliates at no charge to you. All stamps, dies, and stencils used today were purchased by me. I appreciate your support!
