My Disney/Pixar loving heart is so excited to share today's card with you all! As you probably already know, the August Hero Studio kits really knocked it out of the Halloween park. The Dies of the Month are absolutely packed with great little images and frames. When I saw the skull die I immediately thought of sugar skulls and Coco.
The card design was highly inspired by this Coco poster I found:
And then I wanted to also used the same color scheme as the movie logo which includes a lot of bright yellows, reds, oranges, pinks, and blues.
The background is inked up the August Layering Stencils of the Month. The layers were ink blended in the following order: Nautical Ink, Indigo Ink, Charcoal Ink, and Plum Ink. This was on top of Adriatic Cardstock.
The three frames and their skulls were covered in Glitter Paste and popped up to give them emphasis. The rest of the card is just die cutting and gluing! The cardstocks used for the skulls are: Mustard, Papaya, Nautical, Peony, White, and Azalea.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoy this inspiration for the August Hero Studio Kits.
