I'm very excited to be joining the Topflight Stamps birthday hop! I have three creations to share for the celebration. The first one is a Polaroid Pop using AALL & Create "Party with Me" stamp set. The background uses AALL & Create stencil "Enchanted Garden" with Distress Ink in Squeezed Lemonade.

The image was colored with Copic Markers.

The next creation is a sweet birthday card using stamps from L'encre called "Something to Celebrate". There are a lot of sweet images in this stamp set, and I used the bunny and box of balloons. The images are colored with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. The background uses a stencil called "Lotza Starz" by AALL & Create with Distress Ink Spun Sugar.

The Celebrate sentiment is stamped with Creative Expressions "Stylish Script" set and I heat embossed it with Wow! Embossing Powder in Brassy Twinkle.

My last project is a funky and colorful art journal page! Some of the background on the page is an old mop up page that was already in my journal.

I added to the background using Paper Artsy stencil PS271 with Distress Ink Kitsch Flamingo and AALL & Create Digits Checked with Paper Artsy paint in Cerulean.

The main stamp images from from Art by Marlene "Birthday Bash" stamp set. I loosely painted them using Paper Artsy Fresco Paints in Bougainvillea, Zesty Zing, and Bubble Gum. I splattered the page with Lavinia Mists in Kingfisher.

I also added some simple paper collaging. The paper is from Art by Marlene and I cut out some shapes and patterns that matched the colors of the page.

Thanks for joining me! Topflight Stamps is also hosting a sale during the hop. Happy shopping!

  6. I love the girls with the flowers. The new release is really fun with all the country outfits. The last card is a style I love but seldom make. My family prefers traditional cards, which I also enjoy making. But there is something fun about creating a card with a puff fish holding a glass of wine, wearing a hat, and blowing a party horn. I love cards that make me laugh.
