Time for the Holidays!

I am a firm believer that Halloween decorations need to absolutely be taken down on November 1. It is not a lingering holiday... but my Christmas decorations usually stay up until Valentine's Day :) Is that a little too far??

So November 1 kicks off the holiday craft season, the best season of the year! I'm sharing a Christmas card for Unity Friends with Flair and also inspired by this month's color challenge and sketch challenge.

I love love looove this little birdie stamp from Unity (Birdies, Hugs, and Mistletoe), it is a great coloring stamp! I used copics to make a traditional red/green look. The hats are covered in Stickles, of course.

Pattern paper is from an old My Mind's Eye collection and I distressed everything in Distresss 'Tea Dye' ink to add to that vintage look. The sentiment is from a Unity grab bag.

Have you started your holiday cards? Happy November!

  7. What a cute little card! You made it so special embossing the paper (never think about that in time) and using there's dye for vintage feel. The little sparkles on fur just top it off. Great card - thanks for sharing.
