Stencils and Triangles

This is just a quick little Sunday afternoon post. I ordered a bunch of stencils last week so today was play time! I used Distress Inks with the blending toll over the stencils, and I am loving the outcome! Both of these cards were created for the Moxie Fab Trendy Triangles challenge.

For this card, I blended Distress Inks over the stencil, then stamped the lovely flower image on top. I used a craft knife to cut the space for the sentiment, stamped the sentiment on the card base, and adhered the colored panel with foam dots.
materials: stamps - Unity Stamp Co "Insightful Meadows", Avery Elle "Handwritten Notes". Stencil - The Crafters Workshop "Aztec Mini". Inks - Distress Ink "Wild Honey", "Spiced Marmalade", and "Worn Lipstick", Hero Arts "Soft Cantaloupe", Versafine "Onyx Black".

This card was made for a friend who is going through some big exciting changes soon. I used the same set of techniques as the card above.
materials: Stamps - Unity Stamp Co "In This House" and "Insightful Meadows", Simon Says Stamp "Card Exchanging Friends". Stencil - The Crafters Workshop "Chevron Mini". Inks - Distress Ink "Tumbled Glass", "Spun Sugar", "Chipped Sapphire", Hero Hues "Tide Pool", Versafine "Onyx Black". Misc - pink washi tape, Spellbinders large circle die, Liquid Pearls.
