March Stackaholic Challenge

First things first:
BEAR DOWN ARIZONA! See you in the Sweet 16!!!

I've been spending the weekend catching up on my scrapbook. By catching up I mean I got two pages finished from well over 6 months ago. Better late than never ;) Here is the sketch for DCWV March Stack-a-holic challenge

This layout uses one of my original DCWV favorites: "Dots Stripes & Plaids". I also used some chipboard embellishments from the "Dots Stripes & Plaids" collection.

Six months ago, Matt and I took a long weekend trip to visit his sister in Nashville. I think we both fell in love with that country-music-lovin, cowboy-boot-wearin' city and it was great to meet up with his family! The group picture is at the Opryland Resort and the photo on the right is near the capitol building.

I also wanted to try out the new scrapbook style that's blowin' up all over the interweb. Collage-ish and ultra-layered pages are really popular now. So this is my first attempt:

So this picture is from July 2012, when my parents visited Connecticut and we went on the Thimble Islands Cruise. I doodled, I splattered, I washied, I stapled, and I layered the hell out of this page. There's even a layer of vellum in there somewhere.

I have only lately been good about labels and such... I just re-posted it, so you can check it out. Mine wasn't the best design, though it was a hit. Love Dear Lizzy!
