Public Art Layout

I have a textured filled scrapbook page to share today. I'm using some photos from my recent trip to South Carolina to visit my friend Donna (more pictures on this post). I am also excited to link up this layout in Virginia's View Challenge to use stencils!

On our 'history lesson' day, we visited some cool public art pieces mostly situated in an old parking lot around downtown Columbia. I will never forget that giant metal fire hydrant!

Here are some close up shots of all the texture included in this page. I used DCWV stencils with modeling paste to give the diamond pattern around the base layer. I also added layers of teal patterned corrugate paper and teal cork (both from DCWV). I added a nice helping of staples around the page, both for texture and function to hold all those layers on tight.
