12 Days of Holiday Inspiration - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the 12 Days of Holiday Inspiration Blog Event brought to you by "The Inspiration Crew".  We’re just a group of online crafty friends who love being creative. This time we're doing a 12-day event to provide you with tons of Holiday Inspiration.

We're making crafty projects using products we like and some of us are even offering prizes. Check each blog and the information there for what prizes are being offered and when the winners will be announced on that blog.

Today I'm sharing a set of holiday cards using the Papertrey Ink "City Scene" stamp set. A couple months ago I shared a set of tags I made with these stamps, and it is a really addicting set to play with. So the next day I made this card set and mailed it off to my parents to use for holiday cards.

I used a few different stencils and applied white gesso to add some texture to each card. I used Hero Arts inks to layer the stamps and create a different city scene on each card. The sentiments were stamped directly over the gesso with StazOn ink. To finish off each card, I lightly misted some gold ink on top.

Thanks for joining me for Day 2 of our holiday event! Be sure to visit the other talented ladies to see what they have planned today!
