Self Portrait Polaroid Pop

It's time for a self portrait! I'm over at the Topflight Stamps blog sharing this cute Polaroid Pop. I used "The Crafter" stamp from AALL & Create to put this cutie together.

I colored the images from The Crafter stamp set with Copic markers and fussy cut with my Cutter Bees. The background was created with AALL & Create "Lotza Starz" stencil using Prism Ink in Arctic Mist. I then blended the edges with Prism Ink in Mauve Moment.

I added some gold tulle to the top, popped up the little girl with foam adhesive, and glued the images. Lastly, I made her eyes sparkle with Icicle Stickers (my fave).

I also have a short process video of how it all came together! Watch the video here!

Replace fear with curiosity - Art Journal + Video

Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you've carved out some time for yourself to make something creative. I'm up at the Topflight Stamps blog today sharing this colorful art journal page with you all today. I also have a process video linked at the end.

I started with a messy brushing of Paper Artsy Fresco paint in Zesty Zing and Bubble Gum. While the paint was still damp, I placed the AALL & Create Hung Up on Hearts stencil over the page and wiped up some paint with a baby wipe. I also used the stencil to spray Prism Spray in Glamour Gold. Once all of that was dry, I used the same stencil with Paper Artsy paint in Bora Bora.

I added some collage paper and messy stamping of the AALL & Create Poppy Seedhead stamp to the background. I also stamped the Poppy Seedhead onto thick white cardstock, painted the main parts of the image with the same Paper Artsy paints plus London Bus. I then fussy cut the poppies and glued to the page.

To finish off the page I added black marks with a marker and black splatter from Prism Spray in Midnight Black. Lastly, I added the sticker quote "Replace fear of the unknown with curiosity."

Thanks for joining me!

Be Beautiful - Polaroid Pop

Happy Valentine's Day! I'm on the Topflight Stamps blog today to share a little self-love affirmation card. If you're a cardmaker, I have no doubt you've been making Valentine's cards for your friends and family all month long. But what about some love for YOU?

Today I use the Be Beautiful stamp from AALL & Create as a gentle reminder that you are beautiful!

This is a small Polaroid Pop that measures just around 3" x 4.2". I colored the darling little girl and silly bees from Be Beautiful with Copic markers and fussy cut them. The background uses AALL & Create Poppy Seedhead stamped in Prism Ink Canary Yellow. I lightly blended the background using Prism Ink Camelia Pink.

The wings on the bees and the little girl's wings have been coated with clear glitter to make them extra special. I love how simple this polaroid was to put together, and it still makes such a big impact!

Have a very happy Valentine's Day <3
