It's time for a BIG Unity hop! The crew has decided to have one HUGE blog hop a month instead of little hops each week. This way you can see projects from the entire team!
Today I decided to showcase the gorgeous February 2016 SMAK kit! I also have a brand new technique quick tip to share :)
I must have been inspired by the 80's with this card! I stamped the heart with archival black ink, cut it out, and then used Distress Inks to blend the bright colors together. For the card base, I used black Simon Says Stamp cardstock and added the SSS 'Falling Hearts' stencil with pink modeling paste. Then I layered the heart on foam dots (with some metallic blue thread behind it) and added the sentiment!
Make sure to check out my newest Quick Tip video to see how I created this page!
Wow, I love the texture with paste and Unity stamps!
ReplyDeleteI need to be pushed toward texture because it's not someplace I go on my own. I love that you showed me just what to do! Thanks for giving it heart!
