It’s Topflight Stamps 7th Birthday and to celebrate, I’ve teamed up with some great designers to showcase celebratory projects using the unique products available at Topflight Stamps. Please hop along with us and see all the beautiful talent from this group of amazon designs! There is a master list of Hop stops on the Topflight Stamps blog! We are also Hopping on Instagram! You can start at the Topflight Stamps account @topflightstamps and find me @rwkrafts

Of course, it wouldn’t be a birthday celebration without prizes! Topflight Stamps is giving four lucky winners a $50 Gift Certificate to the store. Two winners will be chosen from commenters on the blog hop and two will be choses from commenters on the IG hop. For a chance to win, make sure to visit the stops and leave a comment by April 1st. Winners will be announced on the Topflight Stamps blog on Monday, April 3rd. Only commenters from the USA will be selected for the prize due to shopping issues. Thank you!

Since we’re celebrating a birthday today, I have a fun birthday themes card to share using several stamps from the Topflight Stamps store. Here’s how it all came together!...

I cut a piece of white Hammermill cardstock to 4” x 5.25” and ink blended the entire panel with Distress Ink in Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio. Then randomly stamped some images with grey ink from AALL and Create "Define Party" stamp set to create some interest in the background.

Next I used this very fun Polkadoodles Celebration stencil all over the panel that I spread Glitter Paste over.

The super sweet giraffe from Carabelle Studio "Party Giraffe" was then stamped on watercolor paper. I watercolored him with a variety of Distress Inks, but mostly Fossilized Amber and Walnut Stain. Once it was dry, I fussy-cut the image.

Then I stamped the cupcakes from AALL and Create "Cupcakes" also on watercolor paper. I watercolored the image with Distress Ink Fossilized Amber, Mustard Seed, and Picked Raspberry. I also fussy-cut the two cupcakes.

Now it’s just time to put it together! I tucked the giraffe into the cupcakes and also popped some of the front images up with foam tape.

Thank you for hopping along with us! I hope you enjoy all the inspiration!

  12. Hi Rachel I love your card. There is nothing like a Party Giraffe with a really tall pompom party hat. Just watch out when he is dancing. Everyone knows a giraffe’s favorite place to be is in between two big cupcakes he can eat. I like the “Define Party” stamp I will need to put that one in my Wish List. The touch of glitter past with the streamers is so pretty. I can't wait to see what you make next.
