5 for 5 Halloween Day 3 - HAUNTED HOUSE

Welcome back to Day 3 of our 5 for 5 Halloween event! Today our theme is HAUNTED HOUSE. Each of the designers will be creating a Haunted House inspired project. Be sure to visit each designer and leave comments... some of us are offering fun prizes!

This is a fun little haunted house created mostly out of fussy cut patterned paper...

All of the sides of the house are decoupaged with paper from DCWV "Spooky Delight" paper stack (sold at JoAnn's stores) and DCWV "Eek a Boo" stack. I wanted to create a fun spooky forest for the Trick or Treaters to pass through.

All of the elements were fussy cut from the DCWV papers and hot glued into the scene (the trick or treaters, skeleton, gravestones, ghost, and tree).

The tree branch has been heavily coated in silver mica glitter flakes. The skull in the 'attic' of the house was found at Target and I painted it black.

Little touches and smears of black paint were added to the edges of the house.

PRIZE TIME!
