The Story Must be Told - Unity Hop

It's Unity Thursday again! The second Thursday of each month also means a brand new Unity {Be Inspired} Challenge. I played along with the color challenge and the scrapbook sketch challenge...

The scrapbook page is full of those bright springy colors. The photo is actually of me and two other Unity girls, Lisa Arana and Kris Lancaster! We got together in April for catching up and food and lots of drinks :)

Seems like a weird photo to scrap, huh?! The stamp from the May 2015 SMAK that says "the story must be told" is so fitting for this. So... here's the story

"Lunch with my Unity girls - Kris and Lisa. Our attempt at taking our own group photo... Lisa claimed she had set the photo timer... WRONG. Oh well, 2 out of 3 of us were ready!"

I used pink and yellow inks to stamped the triangles (from Feb 2015 SMAK) along the bottom of the page. The butterfly and a few other images from the May 2015 SMAK were heat embossed in black on top of a gorgeous multicolor pattern paper. I love how the black embossing looks... the butterfly almost looks like velvet.

Time for the SALE! There are some darling free stamps with purchase (that little owl?! LOVE him!) and hundreds of favorites priced under $10! Run to the Unity site and START SHOPPING THE SALE!

As always, Unity can't have a hop without a prize! Leave a comment on the Unity blog and the Designers along the hop for a chance to win! There will be two lucky winners :)

Enjoy the hop and fabulous inspiration from the other ladies. Your next stop is the beautiful Shilo.

Love,
Rachel
