Grow

Friday's almost over so here I am rushing to get my Friends with Flair post finished in time! I had sporadic amounts of free time throughout the day and I used that time to make an art journal page. Every couple hours I would add another layer of mist, paint, stamps etc until 9pm I decided it was done.

Today was a bit nerve wracking and this helped ease my mind in between things-to-do. The sentiment seemed so fitting for those stressful days: Sometimes you have to be strong for yourself.

All stamps used are from Unity. I used SMAK kits from April and May 2014 and the KOTM from April 2014.

The pinkish yellow background is a combination of Color Shine mists, gelatos, acrylic paint, and PITT pens.

The flowers were stamped with white acrylic paint and the sentiment in black paint.

In the background I also used Unity stamps "Tiny Number Tags" and "Banner Moment". My silly little art journal is such a fantastic stress reliever!

*** I'm sure you would also like to know that right now the new Mixed Media Monthly Challenge is giving away over $100 worth of Unity Stamps!! All you need to do is comment at the blog for a chance to win! And we send so much THANKS to Unity for being our amazing sponsor this week. ***
