12 Days of Holiday Projects #1

Advent Calendar!!!

Welcome to Day 1 of The 12 Days of Holiday Projects Blog Event. Several crafty bloggers and I decided to post one holiday project a day for 12 days - just for fun.  The projects will be anything crafty! We’re posting projects we made using products we like and hope they will give you some inspiration for your own holiday craft projects. Be sure to look at their blogs and leave comments on any that inspire you. Happy Holiday Crafting!!

This is such a fun event and make sure you check out all the other lovely bloggers playing along! I finally get to share my advent calendar yaaaaaaaaay!

I created 25 paper envelopes with a little pocket space in each one. All envelopes are uniquely detailed with their own pretty little number :)

My hubby and I split the calendar. He got the even days and I got the odd days. Each little folded paper has a personal "coupon" that we get to open every day (I don't know what his coupons are and he doesn't know what mine say)

Every envelope has been clothe-pinned to our Christmas tree. It's pretty friggin' cute. I kinda love it.

Here are some of my favies:

Materials: Authentique "Festive" paper pad, My Mind's Eye "All is Bright" paper pad, Lawn Fawn "Fa la la" paper pad, foam adhesive, pearl accents, Echo Park holiday stickers, mini clothing pins.

Check out all the other amazing projects for Day 1!

  3. I love this project, Rachel! Such a fantastic idea! I always want to do some sort of advent calendar each year, but never have any good ideas. I will have to put this on the back burner for next year.
