I was inspired by the bold geometric pattern and the green and yellowish colors. I used a Stampin Up! punch that Donna gave me and paper punched the green and yellow papers. I made a single score line under the squares and stamped 'merriest wishes'. I also adhered some of the punched paper to the inside of the coordinating envelope.

Materials:
paper: DCWV "Lemon Flower" and "Green Tea" stack. Colorbok stack. Coordinations white pearl cardstock.  stamp: Hero Arts CL543 "Very Merry Christmas".  ink: Martha Stewart green. punch: Stampin Up!

Card numero dos is for the Moxie Get Inspired by Fashion challenge...

For this holiday/winter themed card I was inspired by the houndstooth pattern and the light blue color. I layered alternating houndstooth and glittered blue papers. I stamped and colored the house with colored pencils, added light blue stickles to make the roof look snowy, and adhered the stamped sentiment.

Materials:
paper: DCWV "Dots, Stripes, and Plaids" stack and "Glitter" stack.  stamps: Hero Arts CL389 "mi casa".  ink: Martha Stewart teal. colored pencils, Stickles, blue twine.

Now I only have about 17 more Christmas cards to make and ship out, woohoo. Have a great weekend, don't spend too much money out shopping ;)

  1. Wow - I love how you used the punch on the first card - the paper you chose is perfect - they look great together!! The envelope is so clever and pretty too. Now that I'm off I'll have to get on all my challenges. The second card is so fun - love that you used the houndstooth for the fashion challenge. Good luck!!
